“So… You’re writing an RPG?”
“Yes.”
“So, you’re like… modelling all these characters for the game? So it’s like an MMO? Like Wow?”
“No, no. A Tabletop RPG.”
“So… then, like… why are you 3D modelling everything? Shouldn’t you be writing the text?”
“IF I COULD DRAW I WOULD DO THAT, ALRIGHT. THIS IS THE PART I’M WORKING ON RIGHT NOW. I’LL GET BACK TO THE TEXT ONCE THE CHARACTER ART IS DONE.”
Actually, the text is pretty much complete. Just need to do more editing passes and formatting. But you can’t do layout formatting without the art that the text will be next to, sooooo…
This here is a Duelist. Which should be done and on the site fairly soon. She doesn’t have armor, because the Duelist class is designed to be speedy and good at dodging. They have several character abilities (Traits) which can be equipped that they can use to dodge attacks. Of course, this doesn’t preclude you from wearing armor and in fact, I would expect most players to have armor equipped. But It would sure look boring if every character art was just covered head to toe in armor.
Her clothing is a little revealing and thin because the main setting presented in the game book is on an island just south of the equator of their world. What one might call tropical. So it’s hot and muggy most of the time. You won’t be seeing fur cloaked viking warriors here. Expect the guy outfits to be just as sparse.
